This recipe of tuna salad with hard boiled eggs is easy to do and tastes fantastic. You only need to boil 8 eggs and chop them into small pieces. Take them to a bowl and add mayonnaise. Mix both ingredients until mayonnaise and egg yolks achieve a creamy texture. Then add 2-6 ounces of tuna, 1 tablespoon of red onion, 1tablespoon of red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. After blending the ingredients, you will be ready to serve the dish to your guests.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2-6 ounces of Albacore tuna
  • 1 tablespoon of red onion
  • 1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  • Chop the hard boiled eggs. Take them to a bowl with mayonnaise.
  • Mix until homogeneous
  • Add tuna, onions, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper
  • Mix and serve

Notes

Useful tips:
  • If you buy tuna at the grocery store, you may find different types: solid white tuna, also known as Albacore tuna, and chunk light tuna. We usually recommend solid Albacore tuna because it gives texture to the salad. If you prefer a creamy salad, you can try the other type or mix both.
  • If you’re thinking of saving tuna salad with hard boiled eggs, take it to the fridge right away. It shouldn’t stay at room temperature for over an hour because eggs and tomatoes won’t hold such a long time. In the refrigerator, it lasts for up to one week without a problem.
